Project Management Institute - Puget Sound Chapter will welcome Alan Shalloway as one of the speakers at their January Dinner Meeting.

The Northwest is home to dynamic companies that are synonymous with innovation. How is project management keeping pace with the changes that surround us? Join three highly respected Northwest authors; Eric Verzuh, Terry Schmidt, and Alan Shalloway, each of whom brings a unique perspective on the developments in our profession. They will provide a framework for understanding the evolution of project management and the newest trends.

The topic will center around: Where have we been, where are we now, and where are we going? Let’s talk about growth and changes in our profession. And what do these changes tell us about the future role of professional project managers.

Eric Verzuh will be the moderator and a presenter for this event. He has created the Project Management 4.0 framework to show how project management continues to evolve to serve larger and larger audiences, and to give practicing professionals a framework for viewing their own professional development. Terry Schmidt brings deep expertise as a strategic planner. Terry will present the Logical Framework Approach, which provides a comprehensive linkage between project execution and accomplishing strategic goals. Click here for bio.

Alan Shalloway is a pioneer in applying Lean principles to software development. Alan will show us how Lean principles shift our focus from ‘on time, on budget, on scope’ to delivering maximum customer value. Click here for bio.

The program will be a panel presentation and discussion and will provide ample time for Q&A and discussion.
